KIA SET TO UNVEIL THREE 2014 MODELS IN NYC
Auto shows are terrific venues for automakers to exhibit their latest models to tuned-in participants ready to disseminate that information to every corner of the globe. The Detroit show has come and gone. Geneva is now in the rearview as well. Next up? We travel to the Big Apple for the New York International Auto Show where things are really shaping up for a big Kia event.
Three redesigned Kia models are on the docket for a big debut in New York next month and Berlin City Kia VT has the information Kia enthusiasts in the Burlington and Plattsburgh area want to know.
The first exciting news is that an inside source reveled that Kia will be showing off a new version of the Soul utility vehicle. Details are scarce on the specs of the redesigned model, but experts suggest the current 1.6L and 2.0L 4-cyl. engines will likely make a reappearance in the 2014 Soul. Speculation also wonders if a turbocharged power source might be forthcoming as well.
The Kia Forte Koup and 2014 Kia Optima are also slated to help the automaker make a splash in New York. We’ve shared a few details about the new Forte here on Berlin City Kia VT’s blog before, but to reiterate, the Forte is expected to have a bold redesign and the Optima is thought to see many tweaks and improvements from tip to tail.
