KIA TEASES NEXT SUPERHERO INSTALLMENT AHEAD OF SEMA

Step aside Batman, it’s The Flash’s turn to shine. Of course, Berlin City Kia VT isn’t talking about the actual superheroes. We’re referring instead to the new Kia models that are inspired by them.

By now, most enthusiasts have heard about the latest intriguing Kia initiative. On the off-chance any in the Burlington and Plattsburgh area haven’t, allow us to give a refresher. In conjunction with the comic aficionados at DC Entertainment, our favorite automaker is creating a line of Kia autos created to reflect the personas of superheroes in the famous “Justice League.” All proceeds will go to benefit the “We Can Be Heroes” project which strives to end hunger in the Horn of Africa.

First up was Kia’s take on the Batmobile with a Batman-inspired Optima. Now, company officials are teasing a special Kia Forte Koup designed to reflect The Flash. Like its comic-book counterpart, The Flash Forte wears bright red paint with a large gold lightning bolt symbolizing the power within. For The Flash Forte, the “power within” can actually be seen through a cut-out glass window in the hood.

At this point in time, the rest of the customized Kia Forte Koup remains a mystery. However, it, along with three other comic-book-inspired Kia autos, will be revealed in full at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas very soon. With that in mind, be sure to keep an eye on our Kia blog and we’ll send the latest updates and full model details your way.
